Cottage season is pretty much here and cottage go-ers are busy spending weekends turning on the water, opening the winter shutters and prepping their home away from home for fun weekend adventures.

There's nothing quite like sitting on the dock in an adirondack chair and putting your feet up. Though we don't have a cottage of our own, we make our way to the beach several times a week and have great friends who invite us up to their cottage during the summer. Ahh, summer!

With some amazing pieces from Indigo's newest Toronto location in Sherway Gardens, I'm officially cottage ready! There's been quite the buzz about this new location, it's not only a new store, but it's the very first cultural department store!

This location boasts shops-within-a-shop (say hello to an American Girl boutique that is over 1,000 sq feet!), beautifully styled vignettes of affordable lifestyle products (which we totally love!) and a little of something for everyone! There are truly so many amazing aspects of this new location, from the digital screens that showcase Indigo's key products and that are meant to inspire, to the Kids Picks Program (where your little ones can make personalized book selections), to the embossing station to monogram journals, totes and pouches!

You'll also ind an expanded selection of jewelry, fashion, home decor items, kid's favourites and of course, books! The celebration of the opening continues all month long with family-friendly activities, as well as book signings! All events are listed here.

This tote is not only stunning, but roomy enough to fit everything you'll need for the weekend. A large towel to lay on & wrap yourself up in after a swim and of course, "one for the road", gotta stay hydrated and a fashionable straw hat to snooze under. Which way to the cottage?!
